Capri, jewel of the Gulf of Naples

December 18, 2019

Evocative location for the wedding or stage of the journey to discover the most fascinating places in the region, the blue island is a destination too good to miss.

The crystalline sea, the Mediterranean nature and the scent of citrus fruits, along with the glamor and fashion style: this is what makes Capri unique.
The famous Piazzetta, like an open-air lounge, is the ideal place for a good coffee or an aperitif.
The whole center of Capri is pedestrian and can be easily reached from the port via the historic funicular or the characteristic open taxis, typical of the island.
Along the narrow and colorful streets are sparkling luxury brand shops, artisans and inviting restaurants!
Walking from the center you reach the Punta Tragara belvedere, the perfect spot to admire the Faraglioni – iconic symbol of the island – and perhaps while tasting a lemon granita.

You can also take a walk to the gardens of Augustus – which feature a phenomenal view and where you can also admire the famous Via Krupp.
The elevated part of the island, Anacapri, offers a slightly more informal and relaxed style.
The CHAIR LIFT is one of the main features – it dates back to the 1950s and leads to Mount Solaro – another extraordinary viewpoint with a spectacular panorama. Villa San Michele, with its splendid and romantic park, or the remains of the Roman villa of Damecuta, are other stops too good to miss.
Finally, a boat ride is the ideal way to explore the crystal-clear sea and the beautiful caves that characterize the island. The most famous is the blue grotto, whose waters reflect flashes of an indescribable color: a must see!
